		<description>Yep.  Running the RH-Compatable kernel, and downgrading kpartx and device-mapper-multipath does successfully give me a working multipath setup.

It&#039;s frustrating that this has gone on since 5.4 through (and including) 5.7.

And I&#039;m not willing to run the Oracle kernel.</description>

		<description>If I&#039;m reading those release notes correctly, that&#039;s only the case when you are running the RedHat compatible kernel (2.6.18-238.el5). 

It should be correct with the UEK kernel (2.6.32-100.26.2.el5) according to those release notes. But I&#039;ve to say, i&#039;m running into multipathing problems with this kernel and the OEL multipath software as well.

Did you have any luck solving your problems?</description>
